Event Details
It's that time of year again! The Haliwards are back for the second year in a row to celebrate the amazing and extraordinary people that live and work in the HRM. We are excited to have been invited back to the Maritime Museum for our second year and we look forward to building upon the foundations we created at our 2010 ceremony.
The Haliwards ceremony will consist of 8 award presentations to the lucky and deserving few that are our 2011 award winners. Those winners will be announced in the new year. There will be speeches from respected members of the community, family and friends. Entertainment will be provided from up and coming local artists through the duration of the evening along with some other musical aspects that we will announce at a later date.
Following the presentations there will be a reception where light refreshements will be provided. This will be included in your ticket price. The main purpose of this post-mixer is to socialize and to get to know the truly incredible people who live around you. During the post-mixer you will have free roam of most of the exhibits in the museum so make the most of the time you have. It’s going to be a wonderful evening!
This year we have worked extremely hard to keep ticket prices down while being able to include refreshments. Thanks to our supporters we have been able to keep ticket prices at a very reasonable amount compared to our original estimates. For us to continue we need the support of local people and businesses.
